Dragons and Penguins-Oh My! 12-4

Had to bundle up to go to breakfast & the grocery store! Brooks ended up in his dragon sweater & his penguin winter fleece hat-oh my

Noteworthy this week: Brooks has another tooth! One of his top teeth finally came in on Monday 12/5. Had a couple rough days/nights-this one seemed a little bit more painful for him then the 2 bottom teeth that came in at the same time!  Brooks is also getting on his hands and knees and rocking!  We will have a crawler soon-watch out!

Happy Thanksgiving

Mimi, Papa, and Uncle Jay came out for Thanksgiving!

Here we are getting ready to eat.  The weather was nice so we got to enjoy dinner on the porch. My friend Melissa joined us-she also cooked the turkey for us! Thank you Melissa-it was yummy!

Super Saucer (Nov 23)

We have Brooks' activity center aka The Super Saucer sitting on our kitchen island so he can watch us-much better view on the counter than the floor.

He really likes watching the water when we do dishes-he is leaning over to get a better look

He also likes to pull the rings above his head and make the entire pan rack move. A new favorite is to keep hitting the red button over and over while Brian or I dance around. Yes, it is always the red button- I guess he likes that song the best 

More high chair fun

Brooks has decided that the spatula is his new favorite toy

A new experience being able to sit in the grocery cart instead of being carried around the store! Brooks sat up pretty well in the cart and really liked it when I pushed the cart and said "Vroom, Vroom"

High Chair (Nov 11th)

We finally found a high chair we liked and got it put together. This was Brooks' first time in his own high chair. He seems pretty happy with it.

GG Visit Nov 3-7 2011

GG was out for another visit! We had lots of fun!

We went to Whole Foods in Boulder one afternoon. Brooks had to sit in the back of the cart while we ate lunch

After lunch at Whole Foods, Brooks crashed in the baby carrier while we continued our shopping

Happy Halloween

We didn't really do a costume this year. We put Brooks in brown with his bear hat & fur booties.  He was more interested in the neighbors blow up pumpkin than getting his picture taken

First Snow October 26

Brooks' first snow experience. Brian took him out for just a few minutes. Brooks wasn't sure about the snow. Brian said his eyes got really big and he did this coo/grunt thing he does.
