It was such a nice day out, Brooks and I decided we needed to get out and enjoy the day

Another beautiful day. I had these kids sunglasses laying around the house-they are not very manly (they do have flowers on the sides) but we were going for function. Brooks left them on long enough for me to take the photo-but he did think it was funny to have them on

Papa Geno

Papa Geno passed away on March 14. He was a huge part of our lives and we were so lucky to have had him for our Grandpa/Papa. He will be greatly missed.

Here are a few photos from Iowa. I didn't take many photos with my camera because I forgot the battery charger and wouldn't you know it-the battery went dead. Hopefully I can get some more photos from Mimi and GG. I have some videos but I haven't figured out how to get them on here yet!

Brooks' First Birthday

March 11 we had a birthday brunch for Brooks. Mommy, Daddy, GG, Mimi, Papa, Uncle Jay, Aunt Beth, Uncle Greg and Ethan were all there to help celebrate. Papa Geno was in the hospital-we missed him!

Go Daddy Go

Brooks loves to ride around on Brian's shoulders. He starts to bounce and will pat (well pound is probably a better description) on his head to get him to go faster

Instead of Saturday morning cartoons we watch music videos. Brooks loves to dance as he watches the videos. He actually sat on one of the stickers and well, I added the other.
