Brooks likes to get in the tower Brian built and play in the water while I do dishes. Today he decided he was going to help. His shirt got soaked so we had to change it but we got the dishes done

Coloring with daddy

Brooks has some more teeth coming in and he is not happy about it. He has had some really hard teething days the last couple weeks. I think he has at least 4 that look like they are ready to cut through. 

Activities: He likes to color-we have some plain paper for him and Mimi bought him a coloring book so he has lots of options.  He still loves his cars and likes to watch the movie and videos clips on UTube of Disney Cars. He points to the computer and says "Cars" and when he wants to watch TV he gets the remote and points it at the TV. He also likes to watch Bubble Guppies and can almost say it.  He has been walking backwards and saying "Beep, Beep" like we do with his cars when they back up.  Of course he loves to play outside with rocks, dirt and mulch mostly. He is a pretty social kid-he says hi to everyone and at the park he goes up to all the kids and wants to play with them and tries to give everyone mulch. Music and dancing is an every day thing and he still likes to watch music videos-but if he doesn't like the song he will do something else until a song comes on that he likes. He is pretty funny! 

Few new words he has picked up: Mimi, down, apple, blue, cars, he tries to say tower, more, beef, smoothie (sounds like moothie), pumpkin, cone (for pine cone), balloon, sun. Most of the time he talks up a storm but  I have no idea what he is saying. Once in a while there is something in there that sounds like a word.  He is trying to put words together too. He looked at Brian today and said "Hi daddy" and he did try to say "sit down"
