Sitting Up

We went in for our 6 month check up (ok it was 7 months) this past Monday and Brooks weighs 18 pounds and is 27 inches long. Last week (Oct 6th) Brooks' bottom 2 front teeth made their appearance. He was a little cranky & didn't sleep well for a couple days but overall I don't think it was that bad.

Brooks is sitting up by himself these days! Not crawling yet but he does roll to where he wants to go.

             All ready for the Hawkeye game! Go hawks! Thanks Uncle Jay for my Hawkeye gear!

Out for a walk

Halloween is almost here so we figured it was ok to dress Brooks in his orange shirt with his tiger hat & footie pants! He really likes going for walks in the carrier-he gets super fired up

We tried the slide one day at the park-Brooks wasn't so impressed with it. The swing was occupied so we didn't get a chance to try it out

Bad Habits Already?

Brooks picked up this almost empty water jug from the counter & decided he wanted to try taking a drink (wonder who he saw drinking out of the jug??)

GG visit & 6 months old

GG was here for a visit at the same time Brooks turned 6 months old (already!) My mom took so many pictures it has taken me some time to go through them-I still haven't made it through all of them!)-but I thought I should get a few posted. Brooks had lots of fun with his GG.

Brooks loves it when we open the hatch on the car and talk to him. Whole new experience to have the hatch open and be out of this car seat!

New Booties

New booties for winter! 

The day after we got them the weather was a little chilly so we took them for a test drive- they are big but they stayed on his feet & Brooks didn't mind having them on.

In the rocking chair that Mimi & Papa brought out for us (wearing new outfit GG sent.). The rocking chair was Brian's grandma's and Brooks likes to sit in the chair & watch the tree outside.
